HighfiveApp Installer - The installer could not connect to the Internet. Ensure that your computer is connected to the Internet and your firewall allows GoogleUpdate.exe to connect then try again.
Troubleshooting Steps
Note: If you need to get into a call immediately, one workaround is to use the latest versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to join the meeting. Navigating to a call link in these web browsers will start the call in a new tab instead of using the Highfive desktop application.
- Check your computer's internet connection. A quick and easy way is by trying to load other web pages, such as https://highfive.com.
- Highfive needs a file on your computer, named GoogleUpdate.exe, to be able to access the Internet. Check your firewall, antivirus, or endpoint security programs to ensure this is not blocked.
- Try connecting your computer to a different network and attempt the application installation process again.
