Hosts vs. participants

Highfive is modeled much more on the daily collaborations that happen within a business: colleagues get together, discuss issues, share documents, and get work done. As a result, Highfive conference attendees all operate as peers. Anyone in the conference can control the conference room device, present their screen, speak, invite other attendees, mute others, etc. No one in the conference has special control over the capabilities of other users.
