Custom domains will allow Highfive customers on the the Standard, Professional, or Professional Plus plans to use their own domain for use with Highfive. For example, users can visit video.company.com/meeting-name instead of company.highfive.com/meeting-name.
Setting up a custom domain will also surface your URL in our product in place of the typical Highfive domain in places like the device idle screen and the in-call invitation panel. You will need to work with our Support team to set this up at this time. Contact your Highfive Account Manager for more information.
If you would like to get a head start, here is list of the information you'll need to provide:
- Provide your desired Custom Domain to Highfive. It must be a subdomain or top-level domain (e.g. video.company.com, company-video.com, highfive.company.com) and not a subpage (company.com/video).
- Provide an encrypted SSL certificate bundle and PGP public key for the customized domain. Please GPG encrypt the zip file with the .key and .pem inside.
- Update your DNS record for the domain to point to their custom domain. This can be done with a simple CNAME record.

Does my Custom Domain need to match my email domain?
No, they do not need to match.
Do you support wildcard or multiple-domain certificates?
No, at this time we only support single-domain certificates.
Are there any kind of restrictions on which domains we can set up?
At this time, there are no limitations; however, you must be able to prove ownership of the domain by providing an SSL certificate. We highly recommend making your custom domain easy to remember and understand.
Will my previously existing Highfive domain/call URL still work?
Yes. The old and new URLs will both connect you to your Highfive meetings and pre-existing calendar invites will still work.
