Clicking a meeting link does not redirect into the application in iOS

In iOS 9.2, Apple changed the way Safari handles 3rd party app hand off.  That change broke the Highfive application hand off for users of iOS 9.2  This means that, for the moment, tapping a meeting link will not get you into your Highfive call.

A recent server push will allow you to use the workaround below.

For Safari users that have the Highfive app and are logged into their accounts:

  1. Tap on the meeting link
  2. A Safari dialog will appear
  3. Select the option to open the link in Highfive

For Safari users who don't have the Highfive app:

  1. Tap on the meeting link
  2. A Safari dialog box with an error will appear
  3. Wait for the error to disappear (occurs after a few seconds)
  4. You will be redirected to a page prompting you to install the Highfive application
  5. After installation, you will be able to join the call as a Guest or sign into your Highfive account

Note: We are moving quickly to address this issue and expect to have a complete resolution shortly (think days not weeks).
