The Dolby Device Isn’t Seeing The Highfive Device

If your Dolby device is unable to connect and pair with your Highfive device, check the following:

  1. The Dolby device will use Bluetooth to find your Highfive device. Make sure your Dolby device is within 25 feet (line of sight) of your Highfive device so it can find and pair together with it.
  2. Restart the Highfive Device. Quickly press (<1 second) the Reset button on the back of the unit to reboot it.
  3. Note: Both devices need to be on the same subnet and VLAN. You can verify this by using the MAC addresses printed under both devices to see what IP addresses have been assigned to them. If necessary, a DHCP reservation can be performed to ensure both devices are on the same VLAN.
