Schedule A Highfive Meeting: Google Calendar

 

If you're a G Suite user, the Highfive for Google Calendar extension makes scheduling Highfive calls in Google Calendar a one-click process.

 

 

Set up the Highfive for Google Calendar extension

  1. Add the Highfive for Google Calendar extension to your browser:
    1. Google Chrome users: Click Here to install the Highfive for Google Calendar extension from the Chrome Web Store.
    2. Microsoft Edge users: Click Here to install the Highfive for Google Calendar extension from the Edge Addons Store.



  2. Create an event within your Google Calendar. For more information on how to do this, visit Google's support site here
  3. Click the LOG IN button next to Highfive to sign into your Highfive account.
  4. Highfive! You’re ready to add Highfive to your video calls!

 

 

Using the Highfive for Google Calendar extension

  1. Create an event within your Google Calendar. For more information on how to do this, visit Google's support site here.
  2. Edit the Add title field to name your event.
  3. Under the Event Details tab, click the ADD VIDEO MEETING button.

  4. This will automatically generate a Highfive meeting link based on your event name, which is inserted into the event description box. For customers on Highfive service plans that include the phone dial-in feature, a dial-in link is also automatically added.     Optional: If you have the Highfive Room Connector feature enabled and want to add a SIP link for your guests to dial, click Add SIP room invite. A SIP link will be inserted as an additional option under your Event Details. Your guests can dial the SIP link with their own room system to join your meeting.

  5. Add guests you wish to join and book a meeting room if you need one using the GUESTS/ROOMS tabs.

  6. SAVE your changes.

  7. Highfive! Your event is now a Highfive meeting. Participants can simply open the event within their calendar at the time of the meeting and then click on the meeting link to join.
