Message: 

Plug and play setup failed because the system has failed 802.1X authentication, which is required by your network. You can modify 802.1X settings in the system according to your network security policy. Contact your IT help desk for assistance.

 

Next steps:

The Dolby Voice Room system is unable to authenticate onto your network, causing the setup process to fail. To proceed, update the 802.1X settings from your Dolby conference phone to authenticate the system.

Message: 

"Plug and play setup failed because the system was unable to obtain a valid IP address. Contact your IT help desk for assistance."

 

Next steps:

The Dolby Voice Room system cannot reach the DHCP server, or the response from the server is not valid. Please verify the DHCP server and VLAN settings are correct, and that there are no IP conflicts on the network.

The Ethernet connections on the Dolby Voice Room hub are not interchangeable. The LAN port is marked with the three linked boxes. The other Ethernet port has a round icon that looks like the Dolby Conference Phone (DCP) and can only be used to connect the DCP to the hub.

  1. Verify the Ethernet cables are in the correct ports.
  2. Replace both Ethernet cables.
  3. If the issue persists, report the issue to Highfive Support at help@highfive.com.
