2.85 Release Notes (Jan 31)

The Highfive Engineering Team has been hard at work to bring you bug fixes and reliability improvements. With version 2.85, you’ll see new versions of the software for the mobile apps, the desktop app, and the web app.

General

  • Highfive will run in-browser on the latest desktop versions of Microsoft Edge (v79), without requiring an app download. The Highfive browser extensions for Google Calendar scheduling and for launching the desktop app based upon user preference are not yet available in the Microsoft Store, but can be installed in Edge by viewing them in the Chrome Web Store with the preceding links.

Devices

  • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

Android

  • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

iOS

  • There are now separate sections for speakers and listeners in the participant list during large meetings. (This functionality was already available on the desktop, browser, and Android apps.)
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

As always, you can sit back and relax while we do all the work of updating for you. Highfive desktop apps will automatically update over the next 24 hours, while updates to our mobile apps will be available in their respective app stores.
